Privacy guidelines

LionWerk Lighting Studio (we, us, our) operates the website lionwerkklubx.com. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We run a small studio, not a data factory — if you ever have questions that aren't answered here, call or email and we'll talk you through it.

1. What we collect and why

Order information — When you place an order through our form, we ask for your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, and the details of the pieces you want. We use this only to build your fixture, invoice you, arrange delivery or installation, and communicate about your order. No marketing emails are sent unless you explicitly agree elsewhere.

Enquiries — If you email us or use the order form without completing a purchase, we keep your message and your contact details only as long as necessary to answer your question. Once the conversation ends, the data is deleted unless a commission actually starts.

Website usage (anonymous) — With your consent (via the cookie banner), we collect anonymous traffic statistics through a privacy‑friendly counter. We see things like which pages get opened and where people drop off. Your IP address is truncated and we never sell or share this data. You can opt out at any time through the cookie settings in the footer.

Cookies that are strictly necessary — The shopping tray and the order form rely on a session cookie that cannot be turned off. It holds no personal data and disappears when you close your browser. No other cookies are set unless you give permission.

2. How we store and protect your data

Your information is stored on secure systems accessible only to the LionWerk team. We do not use external CRM platforms or cloud marketing tools. Order details are kept for five years to comply with tax and warranty obligations (receipts, delivery records). After that, they are deleted or fully anonymised. Financial information (bank account numbers from invoices) is never stored digitally — we see it only when you send a transfer confirmation, and we do not retain it once the payment is matched.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only third parties involved are:

• Delivery services — For orders shipped outside Busan, we share your name, address and phone number with the courier (e.g., Lotte, CJ Logistics). They cannot use it for anything other than delivering your crate.
• Payment processors — We do not process cards directly on the site. If you choose to pay by card over the phone, the transaction is handled by a secure payment terminal at our studio. No card data is stored by us.
• Legal obligations — If required by Korean law (e.g., tax audit), we may need to disclose order records. We will notify you unless prohibited by law.

4. Your rights

Under Korean privacy law and, where applicable, GDPR, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you
• Request a copy of that data in a portable format
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data (unless we are required to keep it for legal or warranty reasons)
• Withdraw any consent you have given (e.g., for analytics cookies)

5. Children’s data

Our site is not intended for children under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

6. Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page. The effective date at the top will change accordingly. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email if we have your address.
