These terms apply to every order placed through lionwerkklubx.com or directly with LionWerk Lighting Studio (we, us, our). By submitting an order form, you agree to be bound by them. If anything is unclear, talk to us before you pay — we prefer a quick phone call to a misunderstanding later.
Our site does not process payments directly. When you submit the order form, you are sending a request, not a binding contract. We will then email you an invoice with our bank details and an estimated delivery or installation date. The contract is formed only when we accept your payment (full for stock pieces, 30% deposit for bespoke). We reserve the right to refuse any order, but we will always explain why.
All prices on the site are in Korean Won (₩) and exclude delivery and installation fees unless stated otherwise. Delivery costs are quoted separately when we invoice you. We do not charge VAT because we are a small business under the Korean simplified VAT regime — if you require a tax invoice for a registered company, let us know when ordering and we will provide one.
Payment methods:
For bespoke commissions: a 30% non‑refundable deposit starts the build. The remaining 70% is due before delivery or installation. If you cancel after we have started cutting metal, the deposit is kept to cover materials and bench time.
Busan (full service) — We deliver and install the fixture ourselves. The price includes levelling, aiming, and removal of packaging. You will be present for the install so we can adjust the drop length and dimmer scenes together. Installation is scheduled within ten working days of final payment, subject to availability.
Ulsan and Gyeongju — We can drive and install for a travel fee (₩120,000–₩250,000 depending on location and size). Ask when you order.
Rest of South Korea — Fixtures are crated on a pallet and shipped via Lotte or CJ Logistics. Delivery takes 2–4 working days after dispatch. The crate includes a wiring diagram and mounting instructions. We are not responsible for installation errors by a third‑party electrician. If the fixture arrives damaged, you must notify us and the courier within 48 hours with photos — we will replace or repair at no cost.
International orders — We have shipped to Japan and Singapore. Contact us before ordering for a shipping quote. Customs duties and import taxes are your responsibility.
Because every fixture is handmade and many are built to order, we do not offer change‑of‑mind returns. If you are unsure whether a piece will suit your room, visit the showroom in Seomyeon or request a finish sample before ordering.
Defective or damaged goods — If your fixture arrives with a manufacturing defect (e.g., electrical fault, cracked glass, loose joints), we will repair or replace it at no cost. You must notify us within fourteen days of delivery or installation. For stock pieces, we may ask you to return the defective item; for bespoke work, we will usually come to you if you are in Busan.
LED modules are considered consumables but are replaceable. If a module fails within two years of normal use, we will send a replacement free of charge.
We provide a statutory two‑year warranty on all fixtures. In addition, we give a five‑year warranty on the structural integrity of brass, bronze and steel components, and on all internal wiring. This does not cover:
To make a warranty claim, email [email protected] with your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description. We will arrange repair, replacement or a partial refund as appropriate.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from an order is limited to the price you paid for the fixture. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits, damage to other property caused by improper installation). Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in effect on the day you submitted the order form. We will never change terms retrospectively for an accepted order.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Busan, South Korea.
